Doctors Chambers- Headline Sponsor at the first Modern Law Conference

Doctors Chambers was delighted to be the main sponsor at the first Modern Law Conference on Alternative Business Structures which took place at the Royal College of Surgeons in London on 1st May 2013.
A fantastic day was had by everyone who attended and sponsored the event.
It was a good opportunity for the industry to come together following the LASPO impact to discuss how the legal services market has been changed by the LSA and how it is likely to further develop. Discussions addressed the benefits that the recent changes have brought and focussed on the business of law and how the legal services are being delivered following the implementation of the new regime.
The conference was arranged to be aimed at different sectors of the Legal world. As with most conferences there were many speakers talking on various issues and topics. Justice Minister Helen Grant MP, a very much sought after speaker and quite a coup for the Modern Law Conference, opened the proceedings. The agenda continued with a host of leading figures sharing their experiences of ABSs from a vast range of perspectives- ownership, policy, investment, management and regulation.
Away from the main hall was a recess area where Doctors Chambers, amongst other exhibitors, promoted the DC Group. There was a hive of activity around our three stands as usual and it gave Doctors Chambers a chance to showcase our services to a wider audience than at other conferences.
As the leading Independent provider of medical evidence, we felt it was important for us to not only raise our profile but also discuss our future plans on how we can offer solutions to the industry in these changing times. It was a great success and well received.
